A Few Words Of Our Mukti ANM

Mukti ANM Training Centre was established in 2004.

The objective to imbibe in trainees the knowledge, skills, confidence, leadership, professional ethics, human values and discipline required in their career building both in Non-government and Government sectors and to work successfully for the Age, Nation and Humanity. The institute is recognized by the Government of Orissa and Orissa Nursing Council since the year 2005 and is affiliated to the Indian Nursing Council since 2009. The training center is affiliated to Health centers like PHC Konark, CHC Gop & Puri Head Quarter Hospital. The institute is situated on Bhubaneswar-Konark main road 5 km from Gop (or 10 kms from Konark). It is located amidst refreshing natural surroundings which facilitates in establishing a healthy and peaceful atmosphere for the teaching and learning process.

ANM-related work includes maternal and child health along with family planning services, health and nutrition education, efforts for maintaining environmental sanitation, immunisation for the control of communicable diseases, treatment of minor injuries, and first aid in emergencies and disasters.

Our Vision

The Auxiliary nurse midwife (ANM) cadre was created to focus on maternal and child health. ANMs are respected members of their communities and established providers of maternal and child health care within the community and at the facility level. Over time, additional roles and responsibilities have been added.
